Everything you need to know about placing and managing your order.

How do I place an order?

Browse our range, add what you need to your cart and check out securely. You can pay with Afterpay, Shop Pay or your preferred payment method. If you get stuck at any point, just reach out – we’re happy to guide you.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major payment methods at checkout, including Afterpay and Shop Pay so you can spread out your payments if you’d like.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

If your order hasn’t been packed or shipped yet, contact us as soon as you can and we’ll do our best to adjust it. Once it’s on its way we’re unable to make changes.

Can I track my order?

Absolutely. As soon as your order is dispatched we’ll email you a tracking link so you can follow its journey right to your door.

Can I pick up my order in-store?

Yes – choose Local Pickup at checkout and collect from our Youngtown store (Tasmania only). We’ll email you when it’s ready, usually within an hour of purchase.

Do your products come with a warranty?

Most products are covered by the manufacturer’s standard warranty. If anything goes wrong, get in touch and we’ll help you through the warranty process.

Shipping & returns

How and when we ship, plus how returns and refunds work.

Where do you ship?

We ship Australia-wide. International customers are welcome too – email info@hydrooasis.com.au and we’ll arrange a quote.

How quickly do you dispatch and deliver?

Orders placed before 1 pm AEST are generally shipped the same day (in most cases even orders before 5 pm go out same day). Metro deliveries usually take 2–5 business days and regional or remote areas 5–10 business days. We ship with Australia Post and TNT, and you’re welcome to arrange your own courier at your own expense.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the size, weight and delivery location of your order. Orders over $499 qualify for free standard shipping (excluding bulky items).

How are bulky items shipped?

Oversized items such as large tents, big fans and reservoirs aren’t eligible for free shipping and have separate freight applied at checkout. Bulky items are always clearly marked on the product page. If your order mixes bulky and non-bulky items, the non-bulky items over $499 still ship free.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy. To be eligible, items must be unused and in the same condition you received them, with tags and original packaging, plus proof of purchase. Email info@hydrooasis.com.au to start a return – if it’s accepted we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions. Items sent back without first requesting a return can’t be accepted.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?

If you’re returning something because you’ve changed your mind, return shipping is yours to cover. If an item is faulty or we’ve sent the wrong thing, that’s on us – we’ll make it right and cover the cost.

Are there items that can’t be returned?

Yes – we can’t accept returns on sale items or gift cards, or on perishable goods (including plants), custom or personalised items, personal care goods, and hazardous or flammable materials. Get in touch if you’re unsure about a specific item.

When will I receive my refund?

Once we’ve received and inspected your return we’ll let you know if it’s approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days – remember it can take your bank a little longer to post it.

My order arrived damaged or hasn’t turned up – what now?

Please inspect your order on arrival and contact us straight away if anything is damaged, defective or incorrect. For items damaged in transit we’ll provide a replacement, and for any lost or delayed parcels email info@hydrooasis.com.au and we’ll resolve it promptly.

Do you ship live plants?

Not at this time. We’ll update our shipping policy as soon as live-plant delivery becomes available.

What do “Back-Order” and “Pre-Order” mean?

Back-Order means an item has temporarily sold out but you can still order it now – we’ll ship it as soon as our next stock arrives. Pre-Order means a new release you can reserve before it lands in store. Either way you’ll see the label on the product, and you’re welcome to contact us for an estimated timeframe.

How do I know if an item is bulky or oversized?

Bulky items are clearly marked on the product page. They’re excluded from free shipping and have separate freight applied at checkout.
